Flexa One injection

Flexa One 3 ml – 3% is a biologically inert gel based on stabilized (cross-linked) hyaluronic acid, designed for intraarticular administration to restore the visco-elastic properties of synovial fluid in traumatic and degenerative lesions of the synovial joints, manifested by pain syndrome and/or reduced mobility.

Overview

Flexa One Cross-linked Hyaluronate is a 100% cross-linked gel, allowing for better cushioning and greater product durability1 in a single 3mL injection, giving healthcare providers confidence in addressing mild to moderate OA of the knee with a safe, effective and complete treatment.

Osteoarthritis, the condition is frequently treated by intra-articular injection of Cross-Linked Sodium Hyaluronate 3% – Flexa One 3% w/v 90mg/3ml PFS as a single dose occurs naturally in high concentrations in joint cartilage and in joint fluid,

where it protects and lubricates the joint. FlexaOne 3% replaces the Hyaluronic Acid that exists naturally in joint fluid and so acts as a painkiller and lubricant. FlexaOne 3% is a cross-linked, non-surgical, non pharmacologic therapy for Knee Osteoarthritis. Cross-Linking enhance the sustainability of FlexaOne 3%.

How It Works

• Healthy joints contain a natural fluid called synovial fluid that lubricates and cushions them.

• In osteoarthritis, this fluid becomes thinner, leading to pain, stiffness, and limited movement.

• Flexa One  works by restoring this fluid, acting as a lubricant and shock absorber, making movement smoother and less painful.

Dosage and Course

• The typical treatment involves one injection per week for three weeks.

• The injection is administered by a healthcare professional.

• Patients are advised to avoid heavy physical activities for 48 hours after each injection.

Possible Side Effects

Some people may experience mild side effects such as:

• Swelling or pain at the injection site

• Joint stiffness or discomfort

• Muscle or back pain

• Allergic reactions (rare)

Who Should Avoid It

Do not use this injection if you:
